Boxes come with four total cards, all numbered to less than 20 copies each. Many of the players in the product haven’t been on a lot of hockey cards in recent years.
2017-18 Leaf Stickwork Hockey Overview
Like many of the company’s products, 2017-18 Leaf Stickwork Hockey takes a thematic approach to its checklist. Inserts look specific commonalities. Game Used Stick and Game Used Goalie Stick have jumbo memorabilia pieces. New Super Blade cards also have over-sized stick pieces, although these are taken from the blade.
Nameplates are among the rarest cards in the product with each being a one-of-one. These have the featured player’s name taken from the stick.
Sticks and Stones has stick pieces from hockey enforcers.
Several inserts feature multiple players. These include dual Tape to Tape, Stick Rack 3, Stick Rack 4, and six-player Titans of Timber. Eight players are on Team Twigs and decade-specific Super Sticks.
While sticks are the driving force of 2017-18 Leaf Stickwork Hockey, there are a couple of insert sets that have autographs as well. These include Signature Sticks and Signature Sticks Dual.
Lumbergraphs offer a different take on cut signatures. The cuts on these one-of-a-kind cards are taken from signed sticks.
2017-18 Leaf Stickwork Hockey has a production run of 150 cases. Each case has ten boxes.
